Thinking Spring

I stamped these images months ago using my demo's stamps. I never could figure out exactly what I wanted to do with them. A few days a go I started coloring them. It was a lot of fun.
They begged for spring colors though. I just kept coloring nd cutting out the images.
To be honest I dont know the name of the stamp set but it is SU. I am feeling too lazy to go look it up. Maybe I'll put that in tomorrow.

I layered and matted with paper scraps I have from various assortment packages. I used my water color pencils to color and my H2O painters to paint the images and add some grass. I added hero arts gemstones to the brads and petals. The center part of the flowers and leaves from the small flower are mounted on 1/16" dimensionals. The bid is on 1/8" cut dimensionals. I added some extra texture by paper piercing.

I took this close up when I made the layer a few days ago. The ribbon is a yellow dotted blue I picked up at Wal-mart. The sentiment is from Cute Converse. I used my D'vine swirl for the orange background, and made faux rivets with my white gel pen. I used my 1/8" punch so I could let a little white show around the gems I put in the center of my faux rivets. My ticket corner punch added some additional texture to the card, and I used my Creative Memeories square punch to mat the sentiment. I just played with my stuff and had fun. This is a fun card for a relaxing evening. Waiting for Trick or Treaters.

Blue Christmas

I have been busy! I have just not posting been anything. Last weekend I had a headcold sinus thing going on. Didn't do much of anything. I have been catching up since. I've been playing in the evening and just havent stayed up to post.

I did make this card last night. using an old SCS LO I used before. I am not quite sure what I think. I like Blue and I like snowflakes. It looks nice but I dont know that I love it. I used "Alphabet Soup" for the sentiment. I stamped Tempting Turquoise and then I rocked & rolled it in Close to Cocoa. It was too dark the first stamping so this is the Stamped off image. I used 3 colord=s of Blue from an assorted package I picked up at Michaels, and a Brown form the Botanicals Package. The ribbon is a stiched I picked up at Michaels also. The sentiment is matted and raised on dimensionals. The blues used my cuttlebug folders, "D'Vine Swirl, Bubbles, & Snowflakes". I think I wnat to replace the brown brads with teal ones. I dont know.

Christmas Trio!!!

I have been making a few cards the last few days. I decided to go with my SC147 first. I used Night Of Navy for matting and Bordering Blue for the image stamping.
I decided I definately was not going to use the cuttlebug tonight. I Embossed alot the base and secondary layer I embossed with clear embossing powder the top i embossed with SIlver embossing powder, because I wanted a few more silver embellishments. I followed the SC147 sketch pretty closely. I used my Paisley, Print pattern and Cross hatch backgrounds. Paisley & Print Pattern were embossed using versa mark. I stamped Night of navy over the embossed image and then wiped the excess ink off the embossing. I then added a little shimmer using my Sakura clear stardust pen. Have I said, "I love that pen"! I Do! I used my marvy scalloped corner rounder on two of the bordering blue layers, and my EK small corner rounder on the Night of Navy layers. I like the look. I used my double circle punch to punch half circles in the NoN edge to hold the navy and silver cording in place. I used silver button brads on the sentiment and the corners. I silver embossed an astrik snowflake from "Snow Flurries". I stamped "sparkle" from "Warm Words" on the bordering blue small layer with NoN ink. I like how it turned out.

My next card is only possible because of a RAK I recieved. The Blue and Red snowflakes(spoked circles) layered on the card were made with "Accent Essentials" on a Cricut Expression. I want the cart but it only comes with the E-bug. I want it so bad, so my friend sent me some diffent cuts form it in the mail. The background is some left over card stock I had stamped for a Christmas Swap I am in, so I used it here. The inks are bordering blue stamped three times before reinking, Night of Navy and Real Red, and Brilliacne Paltnium Planet. The gemstone stars are some I picked up on clearance at my local scrapbook store(LSS). I thought they added to the center of the large cut spoke circles, that I am using as snowflakes. The small snowflake stamps come from "Snow Flurries" and "Cold Play". I matted the sentiment with NoN and the base image with pieces of Real read left over from my swap card. I used a ticket corner punch on both. The "be Merry" is from "Warm Words". the white it is stamped on was sponged with Platnium Planet also. The ribbons were scraps and the brads MM silver for a finishing touch.

My last card is a second card I made for my Christmas Swap I signed up for on SCS. I used "Cold Play" and "Snow Flurries" stamp sets. The previously mentioned Cardstock and Ink colors.

I used the markers of Bordering Blue, Night of Navy and Real red to color the Scarf stamp and fill in the hat band and flower after stamping it with Versamagic "Midnight Black".

The Snowman was stamped with "Basic Gray", the arms with "Close to Cocoa" and the carrot nose with Pumkin Pie". I masked the circle of the snowman as I stamped them using Post its, starting with the small circle. I sponged the Night of Navy background with Brilliance Moonlight White after embossing it with my D'vine Swirl Folder. The hat is mounted on Dimensionals, and the red strips are pierced. The three White brads are the finishing touch. I am happy with how it turned out.

Pink & Brown Baby Zoorific

Okay, This was a simple card, but has lots of little tips for fun things I did when I made it. I hate when it takes longer to explain something than it should so I took pictures.

Originally I was going to use my air brush, so I took pictures of how I mask the image to show you. I ultimately chose to sponge two colors but the masking technique is the same. First I stamp the image on White cardstock, Iused Timber brown for this because I am going to watercolor the image. After the first stamping I stamp the same image on a Post it Note type pad. Since I choose the zebra I stamped it sideways on the pad so that more of the image would be over the sticky edge. I repeated 6 times because this was for a swap. I trim close but I do not worry about the mane and tail becasue I need the sponging to mix in with it. I sotre the masking with the stamps after like shown in a previous post. For this swap I sponged heavily with Pretty In Pink and lightly with Close to Cocoa. After removing the mask the image looks like this. I painted the zebras with close to cocoa Ink pad and an H2O fine tip painter.

Then I trim them down to size 2" by 2 1/16". I used my Double circle punch to punch to holes around the image to tie my ribbon through. Next I made the tags. I used my Word Window punch for "baby" from SU Noteworthy SAB set, and shortend it by repunching the end. I left enought room for it to hang down below welcome and punched a 1/8" circle punch so I could attach it to the ribbon . The SU Word Window was to small for "Welcome" so I had to be more creative. I punched out "welcome" with my Cuttlebug rounded top mini tag Die. I didn't like the flat edge. So I tried the 1/2" circle punch(too Small) and the 3/4 circle punch(too big) to get the other end rounded. Finally I pulled out my Marvy scalloped corner rounder and it fit just right. I put the punch upside down and inserted the tag and centered it then pushed down to punch. I use down word pressure with out punching to help hold the tag inplace while I position it in the center of the punch so that the little corners were all that was punched off. I tied the Chocolate and Pink 1/4" and Pink organza ribbon and tags around the zebras neck attaching the tags with the organza ribbon. I used my Cricut and Mini Monograms to cut a 3" scalloped sqaure and I sponged it with Pretty in pink on the edges. I cut a 3" Chocolate square from a chocolate Square weave Paper I picked up at Michaels. I used my ticket corner punch to add an extra touch to the sqaure. All the levels of the focal image are mounted on 1/16" dimensionals. The Light Pink card stock was embossed with D'vine Swirl in my cuttle bug and then a piece of the same Choc and Pink gingham was attached with Zots Dots and then adhered with the same dots to the card base of White cardstock. THe focal image was then attached lining upthe ribbon on the neck withthe ribbon onthe fron of the card, and attached with Med Zots glue Dots also.

This was a fun card to make I hope you enjoy all the extra pictures I hope you enjoy the card also. I need to get them bith in the mail now for my Pink & Brown/Black swap on SCS.

PINK & BLACK HARMONY SC146

I had fun making cards today for a few swaps I am in. The card I am showing was made using the SC146 sketch challenge as a layout. I like the LO, because it is quite basic and simple. I am using it for a Black and Pink Swap I am doing on SCS so color choice wasn't an issue. It was hard to decide what image to use.

I settled on Happy Harmony because I was looking for a flower and I loved the "Give Thanks" sentiment and thought it would be appropriate for the coming Thanksgiving Holiday. Would you mind getting a Pink and Black Card for Thanksgiving?

The pink and black cardstock is from a baby girl package and an all black package of cardstock at Michaels. I used a white base for the card and image. I embossed using the "Textile" and "Stylized Flowers" in my Cuttlebug. I sponged Moonlight white brilliance on the Black base because I wanted the black mat on the focal image to stand out. I punched the slit tool punch on the matting at about 1/8" in and 1/4" up from the bottom, then adhered the stamped image under the tab created. I stamped the "flower" stamp on the Pretty In Pink Ink pad and then drew with Mellow Moss on the stems with my SU Markers. I then stamped the image on the cardstock. I stamped the "Give Thanks" stamp over the top using versamagic Midnight Black. I really like the softness of this black when I stamp over lighter colors. I used black picture hangers and brads I bought in a set of twelve each from starlite studio some time ago. I' cant remember the manufacturer. The center of the flowers was punched out using my 1/16" circle punch, and I used 2 matte black brads by Creative Imaginations. Lastly I tied black and pink gingham ribbon on the hanger. I like how it turned out.

Christmas swap card

I made this card for a swap on SCS. I had fun doing it, but I cannot get a nice picture. I think the brilliance Galaxy Gold Ink is interferring with the flash, and you can't even read "Holiday Greetings" on the Whisper white one piece. Thesee definately look better in real life.

The colors I used are close to Bravo Burgandy, Old Olive and More Mustard. They are from an assortment I got a while ago. Whisper white was the base for the stamped images. I stamped using Timber brown stazon since Iused my watercolor pencils and aqua painters to color the images. The saddles were actually colored withthe red and purple colors so they could blend to get a burgandy color. I used Moonlight white Brilliance dewdrop to sponge the Mustard and Burgandy strip, after embossing with the "snowflake " cuttlebug folder. D'vine swirls was used to emboss the olive. I tied a small strip of gold ribbon. Since these are christmas cards I kept the embellishing to the rembossing to make them more mailable. Hope you like them, sorry I cant get a better picture. I used SU Sincere Salutations and Festive Favorites(?)(I'll mke sure this is correct in the AM I need to get to bed,LOL!)

Invite Opinions

I have been playing around with invites for Thanksgiving dinner.



I thought I would share last years invite and what I have been playing around with for this year.

I don't think this years is just right yet.

Do I need to use "Paisley" instead of "canvas" and "crosshatch"? Note: I goofed and used bravo Burgandy for both backgrounds, I was going to use Chocolate Chip for "Crosshatch". But since I was getting opinions I left it this way for now.



To save time because I am busy today I am just posting the two pictures.

I used my Cricut and "Doodlecharms" Last Year and "Opposites Attract" This year.

I'ld appreciate any opinions on this years card, because I need to get them made and in the mail soon. Do you think the "Invited needs to be shadowed or be larger?

Cricut Coloring

Well I played with my my cricut colors again. I have the disney cart but sometimes it just takes too much time to cut out and layer all the images. When I first saw the markers I thought it might be fun to do with the Disney"Mickey and friends"cart. I used my Brown marker to make draw the mage for this card. Brown and Pink seems to be the colors of choice lately and because of Breast Cancer Awareness month I am going with it.

I drew Daisy-1 with my cricut. then I freehand cut her out leaving about a 1/8" white border. I could have cut it with the Cricut, but I wanted more white to contrast the brown. I matted with chocolate chip and then freehand cut again. I used my watercolor pencils and aqua painter to color the image, much quicker than cutting the extra colors of paper. I used Blossom dots embossing folder in my cuttlebug for the light pink background. The Flowers I thought would be a perfect background for Daisy. I mounted her on dimesionals and the put 4 of the matte brown brads by Creative Imaginations in the corners and mounted to the base. I stamped a piece of white cardstock with my canvas background and Pretty in Pink Ink and then stamped my thinking of you sentiment with Lovely Lilac diagonally on the tag after punching it with my SU small tag punch. Then I matted with Chocolate Chip using my large tag punch. the final touch was a little piece of folded purple gingham to tie in the sentiment color and Daisy's blouse.

Pink in October

I had some time to play this morning so I made this card to share, Then I remebered I never Posted the other card I was working on.

It's not all it can be yet, but I still think it looks nice.

For the first card I used whisper white, Chocolate chip, and alight pink I can't remember where I got it. I stamped the Polka Dot background in Pretty In Pink. I think I might need to get this background I am enjoying using it. I then stamped "celebrate" from a SAB set(2006 I think) called "Send a Celebration".

Next I used my Cricut and My Cricut Colors marker( picked up at walmart) to draw It's Your day on the same Light pink and White card stock. I used shadow on the pink and drew it at 2-1/2" on both then without unloading the paper, I hit load paper, again to take the mat back to the starting point. I replaced the marker with the cutting blade and then repeated the cuts again. I was pleased with how the brown marker I used outlined the main image to make it really pop. I only bought the markers that had 3 blacks and 2 browns. I thought I would use them the most, and I could draw images to color, which I have felt some of the diecuts could be cut and colored like stamped images. I am planning on trying that later. I then cut the Scalloped Circle and Circle foundation. I increased the scallopped circle a 1/2" when I cut it using my Mini Monograms cartridge.

After cutting I used my cuttlebug to emboss the Chocolate Chip Circle using the D'vine swirl Folder. I wanted some texture because I was putting the "It's Your Day " up on Dimensionals. I used my 1/8th circle punch to put holes in the scallops. I slit the folded side of the card to thread the ribbons through and then tied the Scalloped circle to the card. I adhered it down with glue dots after I was sure I was adding no more bards to the die cut.

Last I used my RAK Pink Primas Large and my Heather petite floral embellishmens from All that Scraps. I joined a large and small Prima to each other using a MM rhinestone brads in pink using 2 sizes, and then mounted it with a Medium Zots glue dot.

The second card I used a teal and light pink textured card stock. I stamped one piece of the textured pink with Pixie Pink using a retired SU Blossom background and then cut it and a piece of SU designer paper into 1/2" strips. I then wove the strips and adhered them to a matting of Whisper White. I wanted it to look like a baby quilt and it does. I used my Queen Co. Mini Brads"miss priss" also bought at All that Scraps to embellish the corners. I love the tiny little brads.

I then tied the pink gingham ribbon around the matted piece and tied in a piece of Yellow dotted teal ribbon. I matted the piece again with the teal and a darker pink cardstock from a Michaels baby girl assorted pink paper pack. I used the SU ticket corner punch on the matting.

I love the animals in "Zoorific" for baby cards because you can color them softly to look like stuffed animals. I also used "riveting" with Pretty in Pink ink to stamp "welcome little one". I used my various sized circle punches to punch out the stamped image and the teal matting. I mounted the zebra on dimensionals after matting it.

I struggled with this card a bit. I mentioned it last week. I still don't feel like it is totally finished, but I have tweaked it a bit so for fun I want to show you how it looked when I first finished it. Just so you know you can alwasy go back ad rework your work. I think you can always figure out when it's done. What do you think of it? I still dont think it's done.

Scrapbook page with flip books

I have been working on a scrapbook for my DD#2 She sent me some pictures last spring. She had taken them in rapid succession trying to get a picture of her friends jumping in mid air.

She never got the image she wanted really but she had taken 2 different sets of 16 pictures. I printed them up on a single 8x10 because I had the great idea to make a flip book out of them to see if you could get the effect of them running and jumping off the rocks. This is the scrapbook page I made for them. I used recipe cards to make the flip books.

I stapled 16 of them together and then covered the stapled end with a piece of More Mustard cardstock. Then I adhered it over the staples on the book. The pictures were attached in order that they were taken. The inserted shows the first page of the booklet. I used my SU Chocolate designer paper and colored several of the dots in a random pattern with, night of Navy, Real red, Pumpkin Pie and Mellow Moss. I used the same colors in cardstock and used "Walk in My Garden" and "Zoobaloo" cartridges to make the die cuts. for the leaves I punched out a few extra Mellow Moss circles with my 1/4 " circle punch because I wanted the small dots with in the circles on the leaves. I used Chocolate chip and my Canvas background to add texture to the pockets made from More Mustard. The flowers are corpsis and tthe leaf is leaf #1. The red and Blue lettering is a little hard to see in the main picture, but I tried to include it in the booklet picture. It looks great in real life. I like how it turned out.

Both Way Blossoms for Fall

Tonight I made another card. I decided I would use it because I am so excited about it. For months everyone on their blogs has been using copics to air brush, and I have been so envious. Then I remembered a few weeks ago that I had bought an inexpensive air brush on clearance at Wal-mart, probably 7-8 years ago. It Originally sold for about 25$ and was discounted to 7$, when I got it. I had planned to use it with my ceramics, but never got my little compressor fixed so I could use it. Long story short, I finally got the right screw driver to take it apart and fix it. So tonight I finally went and got the air brush out of the garage. Surprise I actually had a can of propellant so I could have been using the air brush for the last few weeks. I need to get a little part at the hardware store before I can use it with the compressor, but that didnt stop me from using it tonight.

Now I dont have Copic markers, but my air brush has a little well you attach to it for paint. It was meant for painting models(cars) and was sold in the toy department. I used the fine tip nozzle on the airbrush. I put 3 drops of So Saffron reinker in the well, and sprayed my card stock with it I think it turned out great. I stamped Whisper White card stock with Timber Brown Stazon and used my Both Way blossoms stampset. I then masked the blossom parts with a mask made by stamping the image on the sticky end of a post it note and then cutting it out. The inserted picture shows the cut out used mask and the stamp. If I knew I was going to use this I might of taken some other pictures, to show also. I always store the mask on the stamps after I make them so I can reuse them at a later date. If I used two images I store them the same way if possible. I took a picture of them in place how I store them, I do it this way so I can see how the image looks even if the mask is stored on it. After I masked the image I air brushed it with the So Saffron ink and then I used my water color pencils and an aqua painter to add color to the rest of the image. I trimmed the image down close and matted it with Cranberry Crisp. I really loved this color last year. I am using the last of mine up, I love how it looks with fall colors.

I used a Mustard colored cardstock for the base of the card. I used the "Textile" Embossing folder, again I really love its look with fall colors, on some Chocolate Chip card stock. It just gives me a homey feeling. I used my ticket corner punch and my Cranberry Crisp ribbon to finish the look of the card. I originally was going to let the tag dangle from the top ribbon , but decided I didn't care for that so I added the extra Cranberry Crips ribbon on the focal image and attached the tag to that. The image and tag are mounted on dimesionals. I used antiqued brads by Creative Impressions to embellish the matting on the main image. the saying is from the "small sayings" set in last springs SU Spring Mini catalog. I hope you like the card. I had fuun making it. I can tell I am going to be experimenting with my air brush some more. I am so happy I can use reinkers. They match the colors of ink and markers I have.

Gone Pink for Awareness, SC145

I made my SC145 for split coast. I had a alot of fun with this card.

I used CHocolate chip cardstock and a Mustard color form and Assortment I got at Michaels, and Whisper White. I kept this simple because I wanted to show off the colors for fall. Once again stamps are an issue for me when it comes to fall, but I pulled out my old, " All I have Seen Set" I stamped the sentiment with Close to Cocoa on the card stock and then the dragonfly after stamping off once with More Mustard. I wanted to be sure I didnt over power the verse.

I debated using "textile" embossing folder on the more Mustard cs but thought I been usung it too much. I decided I wanted an aged fall look so I stamped it with my Paisley background in Close to Cocoa. I like to use close to cocoa when I use Chocolate Chip paper. I sponged with CtC around the edge of both the image and the Mustard cardstock after trimming them to fit and using my corner rounder. Since the front of the card was cut away 1 1/4" I decided to round the corners of the front as well as the focal image and matting. I think it really helped the card. I knotted the Brown dotted swiss ribbon and after placing it decided the card needed one more touchthe three matte brwn brads by creative impressions. I was really pleased when I found this set of brads in matte at my LSS, 100 black and brown brads. I use them alot and I am really liking them.

The last thing I did was use a strip of paper to mask the inside of the card and I stamped the Polkadot background with White craft ink. I wanted to accent the dots on the ribbon and tie in the focal image. I think the white dots help keep your eyes moving.

I finshed the card I started last night, so I will probably post it tomorrow. I was too tired to explain it all tonight.

Wedding Bell Blue

This is one of the cards I made tonight.

I am not totally happy with the other one I made tonight, so I want to sleep on it.

I just embossed and sponged this card. I used whisper white for the base and then Black cs from a pkg at Michaels, and SU Tempting Turqouise.

I cut the blue and black cardstock to size. I used my "textile" embossing folder on the blue. Since I had cut the blue cs already I paid special attention to the pattern when I embossed each piece. I sponged white craft ink lightly on the bashful blue. I tied a 1/8th inch grosgrain ribbon around the thin blue strip before adhering it. I embossed the the white cardstock with my small 2" Wedding bell folder. I then sponged lightly with tempting turquoise. I used my queen co mini brads "making waves" and matted with black. I attached it to the smaller panel.

I got everything moved downstairs, and I finshed the baby quilt I need to get in the mail. The little kids at church helped me tie the knots and I hand finished it. We are donating it for Humanitarian Aid. We wanted to do a little service project, since we had talked about service for the last month. I need to get it in the mail , but I thought I would post a picture here.

Witchie Boo

I made a card tonight. It felt so good. Especially after spending all day moving my craft room down stairs and all evening at teachers conferences standing in line. I still have more to move but I needed a break.

I used a Whisper White card stock and SU Green Galore Ink and the SU polkadot background to stamp this card. I used a 3"x 4-1/4" piece of the halloween decorative paper I got in a RAK box on the bottom of the card. I trimmed a black piece of Cardstock to 2" and then used my SU slit tool punch to scallop the edge. After I trimmed athin piece of a Purple cs from an assortment I got at Walmart to the top edge of the Black cs I picked up at Michaels and then trimmed it close with zig zag Fiskar scissors. I free handed piercing the indents with my paper piercer.
I trimmed a piece of orange cardstock, from the same assortment, to 5/8" and attached it so a slight amount of blacked showed on each side then tied the Purple and green gingham over that. I decided it needed a bit more so I added the faux stitching with my Basic Black marker. this piece was adhered to the front with Zots dots.
I stamped the witch image from the Su Boogalie Eyes set on Whisper white with Stazon Jet Black and then matted with the orange and a black cardstock from my scrap pile. I colored her with the various colored pencils and used a prisma colorless blender pencil to blend in the color from the edges. I like the way she turned out. I also have decided I like coloring the cute images from this set I borrowed from my friend.
I can tell the stamp room being down stairs might be benificial, I had to run up and down the stairs to check ink color when making this post!

WCMD? anyone for MACMD!

I had a very busy day yesterday. No time to make a card, but my demo said she would bring cards for us to make when we got together at a friends. We visited and played "Scene It". It was fun but I learned I dont know movie trivia very well, but we managed never to get around to making cards, all our Husbands came home too early.

My niece & nephew came to visit also and I had to move everything off the bed in my craft room quickly so my nephew could sleep in there. There is no room on my craft table now to make anything. I might have a little time to make a card tonight,after I get back from my IL's, but I will need to clean off my craft space first. I think WCMD needs to be moved to another weekend. The first weekend in Oct. is always busy for me.
Next weekend I am totally free.;)wink.

Breast Cancer Awareness Badge

I just want to thank her, she is really getting into the Awareness Month

and doing alot of fun things on her blog.

I also have had friends and family that are fighting or have died from breast cancer.

My stories are extremely personal to me.

My MIL for one has shown such courage and strength

as she has fought this disease for over 20 years.

I admire those who work with, and do things to support & fight this disease

and those who deal with it everyday of their lives.

The Bad and the Beautiful!

What a relief, I finished the card. I think once again the thing that was hanging me up was the lack of fall stamps. This may not be the best card but, I am posting the card that caused my road block. Maybe I need to learn to set it aside and move on but I hate having things undone! KWIM. I used my tree stamp in Brilliance galaxy gold, for the image. I love how quickly this brilliance ink dries. I then used a marker to draw shadow lines on the sides of the trunk and branches. I like the effect but I think it could be better if I had the right stamp set. I love how the Close to Cocoa and brilliance sponged together over theEmbossed "textile"background turned out. I don't think the picture does it justice.

I am frustrated when I do some thing that I think will add the finishing touch and it just messes up the whole card. When I tried to shadow the edge of the 1" circle with a marker that did not go well . I tried sponging with the gold galaxy. I looked so much better with out this, but live and learn, especially from my mistakes. On th ebase I love the background the ribbon and the LO I just need to learn to quit when I am ahead and pick a stamp before I work on a card(wink).

I really like the challenge card I made though. I dont know if it strictly fits the challenge because the shape is not below the band ,but it said any shape so I did it this way. I love Chocolate chip with any color but especially with Pink. This pink is from a Michaels assortment "Baby Girl". It is very similar to Pretty in Pink. I used Pretty in Pink and Chocolate chip Ink. I used my cuttlebug, "Spots N Dots" folder, as well as my SU 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 circle punches. "Adorable" is from SU Warm Words. I stamped in Chocolate Chip SU Polka Dots on the Petals & Paisleys designer paper. I like how all the polka dots and petals are tied in using the back grounds and embossing folders. I bought some creative impressions matte finish black and brown brads this week and I used three of them in a row.

When I was finished the card it looked like the first picture, which is totally fine, but then I added some dots in the center of the pink flowers using my Sakura Stardust pen, and one clear HerosArts 2mm gemstone for the "O" in adorable. You might need to enlarge the picture to see the difference, but I think the bling finished the card well. I like how it turned out. What do you think?

Oopses!

Well I haven't blogged for a whole week. I have made a few cards, but I put them in the mail, and I forgot to take pictures of them before I sealed the envelope, DUH! I think that pretty much describes how my week has been going(went). I also started another card, but I got to a spot where I can't figure out how to finish it. I think I had a creative block, Ever had one of those? I get up and go clean something rather than stare at it. My Junk drawer, My fridge and stove have been cleaned because if it, I think they really need it..

I am also suffering from too many children, they all have things they need, and they never tell you at the same time. I live 20 minutes from town, so I like to run all my errands at once. It seems my children are suffering from I forgotitis and I have had to make a lot of little round trips this week.

Yyes these are the bunch of excuses why I havent posted. I just didnt realize that it had been a whole week until tonight, I was thinking 5 days. My time flies when you are having fun. (wink)

My laundry is done and my messes are clean except maybe my craft room. I am going to go finish that card tonight. I like what I have so far it just needs one more thing. I also have a great idea for the sketch this week. There is no reason I can't blog and create tomorrow.

I am so sorry to keep you all waiting, but this next week should be more productive.
