I labeled the last few pages of the album "Family , Friends & Fun..."

We took so many pictures, that I am certain we will have an abundance of them! There may not be enough room on the pages for each event...so I made these last few pages to create some extra space. I am going to print up a few extra pictures, that I for got in my huge online order that took hours to process through Sams Club...SO... I am going to print up a few more for the album at Wal-mart. Like these ones of Family...I am Printing a few extra to share with these families also.

The Honeymoon and Sisters Layouts

I worked on the Honeymoon and Sisters page...

The Bride and Groom went to Cozumel, Mexico for their Honemoon. Luckily they brought their computer to the MD reception so I was able to copy a few of their honeymoon pictures to a USB drive I brought with me...Glad I did because I knew I wanted to do this page. The weather was beautiful while they were there and they had a ton of fun sight seeing , playing in the ocean and with each other. I hope this page can remind them of the fum they had.

I really wanted to label it Silly Sisters, we got a lot of fun pictures of her with her sister when we were taking the decorations down at the MN

reception. They were goofing off playing with some fabric plastic wrap and floral arrangements. I have a whole series of Pictures I plan to use...

Maybe I should label it

"sisters just want to have fun!"

2 More Pages...Receptions

I am slowly but surely getting this album done I hope I can get it in th email on time.

I have enjoyed going through the pictures and editting them to print..I ordered them today, I cant believe how many memories they bring back I hope they do the same for my DD.

the 2-2 page Layouts I worked on today were for the 2 receptions. I ordered the pictures today also and some extras for family and friends...so many cute pictures.

I loved both

the Designer Papers for todays Layouts as well. the white flowers on the blue background. The glittery backgroud..well this particular

paper sold me on the whole package of DP, and the album. I also love that there are two pieces of every color...I do however hate that on the back of every sheet is an equally beautiful one going un seen...the tragedy of Double sided printing.

I chose the 2 pictures as well from some from the receptions...that I am printing to put on them.

A Few More Album Pages

Layering the letters on these pages can be quite time consumming..why didnt ProvoCraft think I wanted the shadow option for all the fonts on Calligraphy Collection ...Hmm I wonder.

I have been double cutting in two colors to help the thin font pop a little on the page...I layered Old Olive over Very Vanilla for the first 2 pages and Very Vanilla over Old Olive for the second set.
The first set of 4 pages is for the wedding day...The first page says Wedding Day, and the second list the place. I also chose this Designer paper because the Circle shapes on the paper remind me of the circle shaples on the doors behind them.

The photographer took hundreds of amazing pictures so I allowed 4 pages for them they are all wonderful. the set cond set is labeled Bride & Groom. Its hard to see but I used three astriks at the top of the one page.

The Canterburyt set of pages I used the Blocked style Shadow font with the Matrimony Font, It is called Shadow but does not shadow matrimony...sigh! I cut the letters from night of Navy and Old Olive and used the same colors to cut the swirly flower accent from the Solutions Wedding cart. I did like the look of the shadow letters. to weld them together I did shift the letters upward and downward with my Design Studio Software to enable it to be connected...My Dd really like the look of this font...I think she'll be wantting to use it one somethign someday...I hope her Sister likes it as well.

again I am just doing the lettering right now..so I uplaoded a few Photos as well...since they arent on the page yet...

Wedding Scrapbook

For the last few days I have been working on my DD#2's Wedding Scrapbook. I chose a K Co Album with a Blue and Green color scheme to use for their wedding album. I also bought a matching DP to help make the Scrapbooking go quicker. I have been deviding my time beween editing photos to print up and making the album since I am trying to get it done int he next two weeks. this week I have been working on adding title lettering using my Cricut: Calligraphy Collection Cart with the Matrimony Font to the pages...when I mat and add the photos I will also add some embellishments.

The Cardstock colors I am using with this Album are Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, Old Olive and Close to Cocoa.

I amhoping to work on a few more pages and Embellishments today.

I am going to use this picture Its one of my favorites for the day.


The
engagement page is started also narrowing down choices for the pictures since so many wonderful pictures were taken has been difficult...but this one from their announcements is a definate at least somewheere in the book if not on the cover...the shirts they wore go really well with the album colors!

Spotted Birthday

I had alot of fun making this card for my BIL birthday.

I used my Very Punny set havent dusted it off in ages I used the froggy because Kiwi Kiss just seemed like a good color for a frog. I embossed it with Stampendous Black embossing powder, and used reinker and an aqua painter to paint it up.

I embossed the Kiwi strip with my Cuttlebug and "Spots & Dots". I used pieces of Urban Oasis for the background and then used a piece of Basic Gray SU paper and pierced the edges. I tied a little linen thread so that I can count this as a LSC224 card. I used a couple of neutrals so I hope it still qualifies.

Shadowy Silhouette

I used Pocket Silhouettes to stamp the image in Pink Pirouette and then I made a mask by stamping in Chocolate Chip on a postit note and trimming really close to the left side of the image. I placed the mask over the pink stamped image adn stamped in Chocolate Chip. I like the fine line shadow it created. I stamped the Friend to Friend sentiment under neith the image and then trimmed to size..amtting it in Chocolate Chip...I was so excited how this shadow worked out...I will probably try it again!

I used my cuttle bug to emboss with D'vine swirl and True Type Border. On the Border piece I trimmed the paper to 2" If I were doing it again I would give myself a little bit more room becasue the Border punch took a bit more paper than I expected. I used my Martha Stewart lacy Doiley Puncha nd Punched the the edges then embossed., and tied on some light pink gingham ribbon. The pearls are stickers from the basket of goodies I recieved earlier in the month.

Since I was doing SC232 on Splitcoast I embossed the Pink Pirouette paper with Swiss Dots and then punched out with my SU scalloped square Punch. then I layered mounting on dimensionals

Watercolor Garden in Lime

Oh another wonderful stampset I picked up and havent used yet...

I embossed the flowers with Clear embossing powder after stamping with Lime Versa Color. I got this

color a few years ago for a camp and havent used it much since..I got this cute ribbon I wanted to try a single stitch of Lime in a Brown ribbon..Used Chocolate Chip before I figured out the two browns were different. I decided on this Sheer dotted jaffray organza I picked up at Wal-mart. It looked best withthe Lime Ink. I used the center from heartfelt thanks to stamp the Chocolate Chip dots and centers...I wanted a completely closed center. I used my double punch Su punch to punch the holes along a line I drew ont he card and then threaded the ribbon through it...I like how the card turned out and It will be on its way today.

Summer By the Sea Anniversary

I recently picked up this new to me, retired Stamp Set(from SU), at a sale.

I love to watercolor images and I was in need of 6 Anniversary cards..This stamp set seemed to be screaming to be used.

I first embossed the images using Versa mark and Black Embossing powder, a tip I learned from Dawn... makes for a really nice outline.

I watercolored the images using my Watercolor Wonder Crayons and my H2O painters. Here are the 6 images.

I originally intended to do use the Ske

tch Challenge for the week on SCS with these cards, but the image was too large to accomodate. I just used some of the elements of the sketch. I used various colored Cardstock Black from a pkg. I picked up at Walmart...it's thinner but great when you have lots of layers. I used either, Not quite Navy, Night of Navy or Ridinghood Red for the base piece. I used the "Script" Cuttlebug folder and then wiped midnight black Dew drop over the top. I intended this to be upright, but brcause of sizing I had to improvise. I used Garden Green csrd stock and Floral Screen in the Cuttlebug, then used my SU 1 3/8" square punch. I used my MM distressor to distress the edges of the image and sentiment panels. After matting I pierced two holes and used my Clear Impressions Matte brads in Black. I like these brads! They come convientently in a package of 100 matte black and brown brads. I use these two colors the most, so I find it very handy. I also like the matte finish. On the inside of the card I used the other sentiment for the inside of the card, it says.. "I wish you Happiness Always"...the perfect sentiment for an anniversary card.
I loved stamping tonight it was fun!

OH BOY!

I got a great big Basket of treats from my Secret Cricut Sister! It was so fun opening it last night at 9pm. The basket was so big and so stuffed of great stuff to add to my SOS Stash...(me rubbing my hands together). The first thing I noticed was all the huck towels wrapping everything up they had a letter J embroidered on them...I am going to enjoy using them.

Second, I noticed the tons of ribbon tied to the handle looking so pretty, cant wait to use some of them. Here is a Picture so you can see also...


My Friend made the cutest CD tied together with Ribbon, There were Butterflies cut out and Butterflies with notes on them tucked through out the basket. Loved the butterflies so cleaver to do it that way.

I got some pretty cool stuff. So I took another Picture.

I goofed though when I resized the images to go on an SCS post; I forgot to save the originals and so these images are quite small...sorry!
I got a clear stamp set with little sentiments on them. Flower gemstones, Clear gemstones, Pearls and metal dots, Gold glimmer mist and a mini Mister, Square rhinestone brads, MS glitter, K&i ribbon pack, Uni gel Metalic Pens, and a Paper Piercer, Dots glue runners, A kit to make up more CD cover things...a CD tin, a MS paper punch that punches anywhere, and according t the package cut through heavy chip board and tin cant wait to try that, and a box of Herbal Teas.
I am telling you My Secret Cricut Sister out did herself sending me a great gift to help kick off Summer. Thanks Diana your the best...I so appreciate it!

Scrapbook Box

A few months ago my friend showed me this little box she made. I loved the idea of making a scrapbook page for someone and using it for a gift box...So when I knew I was making a Super Summer Somethings box to send to one of my Cricut Sisters. I knew it needed to include one of these boxes.

I used SU Pink Flamingo Designer Paper on the matting inside the box. and used the Cardstock colors(Chocolate Chip, Cameo Coral, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, & Summer Sun) listed in the Catty that go with the papers to mat and die cut with my Cricut. I was originally going to cut alot of summer shapes but opted for the flip flops( 2") because I know that no matter what my kids do all summer long they are wearing flip flops to do it..

I used my Cricut and "Life is a Beach" cartridge to cut some Flip Flops and to make a Flip Flop Window Card cut from Chocolate Chip. The card is cut at 4 1/2" the flip flops in top are cut at 3 1/2" a little problem if layering on the card itself is figuring out how to cut the layers...for the window cards...I added a little Red Gem stone to dress up the card a bit and help it match the bow onthe box. I put some Kraft paper in the window thinking it would look more like sand.

I hope my friend enjoys adding pictures of her sons and daughters doing fun stuff on this page, as well as all the other things in her box of goodies. I hope she enjoys the bag of Chocolate I filled it with also. Now I am off to open my Box, ooh I love surprises!
