STSC#15

My Last Stalker Sketch is today..

I used my new Farm Fever stamp set to make this card.

I like how I designed the Sketch and I think I will use it again I think it was fun to do. I used my white gel pen to add faux stitching I cut my panels on my Cricut but recommend cutting th epanel and then tracing a plate and triming it with scissors. I used FLoral Fantasy to emboss the Light pink, and Petals and paisley DP to mat the oval and for the stripes. I used a sakura gel stasrdust glitter pen on the wings, and some Queen Co. Making Waves Mini Sprinkle Brads for the oval panel it is also mounted on dimensionals.. the ribbon is white grosgrain I picked up at Michaels.....
Well Until Later ... Happy Stamping!

Last of my VSN projects

For VSN besides cards I also made a few projects, so I have one card, a Composition Book and candy bag to show you.

The card was for the Bling challenge, use glitter, stickles or something. I used my Sakura clear stardust gel pen I love how easily it lets you add sparkle to a project and in such detailed spaces. You might need to click on it to see the "bling". I water colored the fish from "Fishy Friends" with my Watercolor Wonder Crayons, and used the sentiment from the fish stamp in "Very Punny". I used Bashful Blue for the background and used my Bubbles Embossing folder to emboss it in my Cuttlebug. Iused the glitter pen to add detailed bling to the scales of the fish. and accented the silvery shimmer with some silver cord tied over the Ribbon.

For the Altered Composition Book I used the Uptown DP from SU. I first used the basic Gray colored sheet of paper to cover the spine. and then the mullticolored sheet to cover the back and front panels butting them up to each other. I cut the paper with my Cricut using "Walk In My Garden" cartridge to cover the seam using the blossom and border feature cutting 3 times at 1-1/2". By reversing the center piece I made a wave of flowers, making sure the center cut out were overlapping the grey paper so they would show up better. I then added ribbon pieces that I thought matched the paper well a satin green, a grosgrain lilac and a snipet of yellow trim I picked up at a local craft store. I had the "e" imbellishment in my stash. I believe given to me by a friend. I like how it turned out nice and simple for my DD's friend.
My last and final VSN Project for January's VSN
are these Covered Nugget Candy Bags. I used some flowers I cut with my Cricut last spring for an ATC. some off white satin ribbon and some cellophane bags. I had about 10 labels left on a sheet of labels so I used my leaf Jumbo Wheel and my mellow moss stamp pad to put leaves on the labels and a sheet of White GP cardstock.
then I used the flower from Think Happy Thoughts to stamp Pretty in Pink flowers all over the labels and images of leaves. Prior to stamping and rolling the wheel I masked the labels with
1-1/4" circles I had punched from Post It notes. I was thinking that adding the Friendship stamp to the blank area would be cute. I used SU basic gray Ink and little pieces to add the heart image to the center and I feel I went wrong here. I shold have just used just the Wheel and flower image as that turned out so cute. I felt the fold over top needed a bit more so I used 2 of my large yellow striped brads for flower centers. Little Punched out flowers would have looked great on the tops of the nuggets.
Oh well to make all these projects each in less than 45 minutes is an accomplishment for me all of its own. Until later ...Happy Stamping!

More VSN

Sorry, but I am not so into posting everything in my blog right now...

I dont know why, but I have been getting a lot more creating done here is a bit more of the VSN Stuff I did last weekend. This first one was one of my favorites.
I used my new SU Celebrate Everything and Happy Everything set and the Word Window Punch. Petals and Paisleys Dp...It fun and colorful and I like it.

This is the Punchie Ewe I made I also used it for A sketch challenge on SCS

Used my Cuttlebug and my giga oval punch, and farm fever for a sentiment I think it turned out cute...

I made this V fold card also I had fun making it also...I used my Autum Leaves swirl & Riveting stamps Uptown decorative paper and my spring flower punch I had fun making it...

I have made much better masking cards but not in 45 minutes or less, so this is the quickest masked card I have ever made and that is the only reason I am posting it.

well Until Later..... Happy Stamping!
I am seriously considering not blogging my cards anymore it is a a lot of busy work and takes away from my creative time...I want thank you now becasue if i do make this decision I might not get to thank you for all your comments and visits. Another stalker sketch STSC#14

Okay another sketch I did for SCS. This one was fun and I think very suitable for Valentines.
I used GP White Cs for the base and stamped circle, Basic Gray for background and so light Pink and burgandy/wine colored cs from my stash.
I inked up my paisley background and then stamped on it with my Big Blossom stamp and then stamped off center on the white circle cs. the circles were cut using Creative Memories circle cutters. I stamped so very in Basic Gray Ink and then loved on white with Ruby Red. Loved was then punched out with the Su word window punch and a heart brad was attached. I mounted this on thin dimensionals. I did faux stitching around the circle with white siglo pen. before attaching the circle I punched a hole int he center and threaded the burgandy MM button from an old Christmas stash, and used white 1/4" organza and Pink & white gingham to secured it. The basic Gray piece of cs was put through my cuttlebug using the textile folder. Once again thanks for looking and if you have any questions just ask.
Until Later...Happy Stamping!

VSN Stuff

Well Its not like I dont have a lot of stuff to blog about...funny stories or cards to post...I do...
It just that I have been busy making post on SCS so I couldreach the 10K mark the big half way point to giving your self a nick name....
It has been very cold here and my stamp place is the coldest part of my house so I have avoided it for a few days. Trying to stay warm it seems my furnace is not keepin gup with the cold....
I wore a hoodie to do some creating during VSN..I think my few cards I made turned out well. I am just going to post pictures if you have questions ask and I will answer them.
the first was from JAN08VSNA...The challenge was to make a round card using this sketch..
I really wanted to just leave the triangles out, but I followed the sketch...I think it turned out well considering you only have 45 Min to make a card...It is hard for me to create that fast...You should see the mess I made in my freezing space...It's still there by the way waiting for me to clean it up...
the second card was a chocolate shoes card, being inspired by Chocolate shoes they were all pretty Pink and brown and white....georgous shoes, the kind which I will probably never own, because 1. they are probably very expensive and 2. because my toes really love comfort....But this is the shoe card I made because the shoes were so pretty... I like how it turned out but I think if I did it again I would just cut the shoe and put it on a background so I had a full size card. I made this for a Birthday card I need to get int he mail soon.
the last card was a little out of my element. The assignment was to stamp on Black....I love black but I always mat with it or something as an accent. So I decided to use my kaliedescope embossing powder, because I had this cute little fiber ribbon that an elf sent me at Christmas and I wanted to use it.... Doesn't it look great on this card...It took a while to get the pastels on the Cup Cake to show up but all in all I think it turned out nice and it is another Birthday card I was in need of.... I loved using my cuttlebug on these cards it really added some umpf to them..
I will post a new sketch tomorrow... and then some more VSN before the weekend....See how lazy I've been...Just a choice I made for January , 1. because I was tired from all the holiday rush and 2. It is really cold right now..

Until Later ....Happy Stamping!

STSC#13 Cherished Bouquet

I made this card for my Thursday Stalker Sketch on SCS.

The cardstock is GP White and Old Olive and Always Amethyst. I used Always Amethyst, Timber Brown StazOn to stamp the images from SU "Mixed Bouquet" and "Warm Words". I masked the flowers using postit notes, the one is hard to see behind the triangle. I did goof up painting the one flower, and colored one part RR when it should be in Pink. I stamped and then painted with my H2O painters and my SU Watercolor Wonder Crayons, using Mellow Moss, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and Old Olive. I used the dot centers from the set to do the Polka Dots in Almost Amethyst. The Old Olive triangle pieces are mounted on dimentionals. All the layers were pierced using the wheel piercer from the Making Memories Distressing Kit. I used light pink button brads by MM to accent the triangels and also a small piece of Pink gingham ribbon from a Micro spool I picked up somewhere. I added a bit of Hero Arts Gemstones to the roses & leaves to look like dew.

This was a simple and easy card and I like how it turned out.

Until Later ...Happy Stamping!

some sketches

I have been so behind on posting to my blog. I am very busy trying to declutter and lose weight. I guess those are some of the annual goals I have every year that once again I am trying to master. I have decided to not let my Craft Blog run my life and it certaqinly hads made it easier to do. I so enjoy making cards and sharing them. I made these last week and never got around to posting them because life has been so busy. I am going to share them both today. They are both Pink because I was loving Pink early last week and trying to get away from fall colors.

The first I made for a Challenge Card SC157 and a Thank you to my Elf, someone who sent me a great package that I got of fun stuff. It was so sweet of her to do. I used SU set
"Sweet Hello" for this card I love this set , but it can be tricky to put the pieces to gether sometimes. I really like how this card turned out. I used Basic Black, Basic Gray, GP White, and some Light Pink Cardstockfrom a baby Girl pkg I picked up at Michaels. I used SU Basic Black, Basic Gray and Pretty in Pink classic inks for stamping. The stitched ribbon I bought by the yard at a Local Craft store that sells everything. I used "Stylized Flowers" to emboss the pink layer with my Cuttlebug. I also picked up the mini black brads by Queen Co. " KissyFit" at "All That Scraps".
I love Christines store and I tend to buy from her because I get Bug Bucks for my Cuttlebug orders and if I order 10$ shipping is free. I like that I can do a small order every few weeks. It helps keep me on my Budget! You should check her out also...
My second card was made for a Stalker Challenge on SCS and is a B-day card also. I have thesentiment inside I printed on my Computer..."Slitherin' by with a Birthday Hi!"...I used Mosaic and D'vine Swirl to add texture to the card. the rivets are MM in light Pink and I used my Watercolor Wonder Crayons to paint the snake, from SU "Zoorific" that I stamped with Timber Brown StazOn. I mounted him on dimensionals. Very simple easy card to make and it looks nice . One reason I really love my Cuttlebug.
I have about a dozen more Birthday cards to make int he next 2 weeks and get in the mail. So I am going to go create something. I also have a swap to do. Thursday I also am posting another Stalker Sketch Challenge. so if you are interested come back to check it out.
Until Later...Happy Stamping!
