The Minnie Images I made yesterday seemed to be begging for something to say. Minnie2 seemed to want to celebrate. She had her hands up and was looking in the air like she was juggling almost. I added little punched out letters spelling Happy Birthday. The lettering was stamped using SU Perfect Plum Ink & Alphabits and punched with SU 1/4" circle punch.I added a white organza ribbon, using a Fiskars 1/16th circle punch, twisted around her waste it has a little shimmer to it and added white sparklie dots to her dress, with a SU white gel pen and glittery fabric paint. I used the SU white gel pen again to add dimension to her nose, shoes and ribbon. It was also used to add white trim to her sleaves.
I used the same light lilac to make the base of the card as I used for her shadow base, and I stamped with versa mark SU print pattern.
Minnie 3 was looking a little shy and in love. I cutout the small astrik flowers using the
Cuttlebug, and one of its Flowers 2" dies, set of four, in light pink. and adhered it to a black background. Then in a light aqua blue I cut out the "I Love You" using the "Jasmine cart" with my cricut. I felt it needed to be a little wider so it was cut in the shadow option. Bling was added using Hero Arts Gemstones in pink and clear. Dont they both just beg to go to a wonderful home. I will be making more cards like this. I might cut the Minnie's smaller so I can use bigger stamp phrases with them.
