Altered Tin for Baby Gift

I made this Tin for a baby gift box for a baby shower I'll be missing why I am out of town. I used some DP I had from a PC Scrap Pack I got in 06 for Christmas. I Used the EK "Baby's first stroll" diecuts I got from my Flower for Spring Fling. She knew I was working on a scrapbook for my new Niece or nephew coming in June, she sent me a ton and these saved me a lot of work and I was running out of time.

The only thing I cut with my cricut is the "It's a Boy" sentiment...I had to do yet another trip into town and so my DD helped adhere them together using my Zyron. I used a green shadow (wish this showed up better in the picture) from a cardstock I got at Michaels recently..
Its called "Nature Preserve" Premium Cardstock, Grand Canyon Collection( love the colors in the set, sim. to Marigold, Thyme, Rust , chocolate and a med bright blue)...this is very sturdy card stock thicker than most cardstock packages Michaels sells...It isn't acid and linguin free stuff, but it is very nice for stuff your not putting into scrapbooks, and its 100% recycled. I think its a good alternative & affordable for many crafting projects.

...and a piece of Scrap Cranberry color uncertain of the maker, Cardstock for the regular lettering, I cut it using the "New Arrivals" cricut cartridge.

The ribbons are True Thyme, Cranberry Crisp, and a light blue Offray I got at Walmart.

I used a baby card from a swap inside.

Thanks for visiting I am out of town for the weekend I'll try to post again on Tuesday...I am on a roll now.

Until later...Happy Stamping!
