This is th elast of my CCrak and VSN Challenge Cards.
It could have been posted with the other tile cards but I Like how it turned out and figured it was worthy to stand on its own. Maybe its a little frilly but I mad eit for my Nephew. I liked turning the tiles so they were diamonds and punching the broders. The straight strip down th ecenter is one of thise strips you get when you punch some borders out so this card used lots of Scraps and Stash, left over tfrom allt he other cards I made for all these Challenges. The double Embossing Folder background really turned out well and I will use it again. Victoria and Birthday Words really added to this card, I need to use this style more often. Thanks for being patient while I caught up on all my VSN Post. Now I can catch up on the Challenge Cards for last week. I should be all caught up before I head out of town for a few days...LOL! Deets from SCS gallery.
Until Later... Happy Stamping!

VSN & CCrak Challenge #4 "Can I Have This Dance"
Sorry about being so behind...I inteneded to finish posting these while on vacation and uploaded the pictures to my ipod so I could. Well sickness struck and I didnt get it done, by the time I was where I felt up to posting them I didnt have internet access handy. I did enjoy making this card during VSN it went together really quickly. I loved the challenge to do a card with a Wedding dance them. I thought of this image and "Can I Have This Dance" immediatly. The only difficulty I had was in gettting the image to print up solidly. I used a SU bella DP , and Night of Navy Ink to stamp the image and sentiment. The stamps are from a clear Inkadoo set called wedding/marriage, I bought it because I loved this image and several word sentiment phrases in it..
The ribbon is an organza from the excess stash from my DD wedding 2 years ago. I punched the flower images using a die cuand then added the pearls because what's a wedding with out pearls right.

Sunflower in Winter

Today I used my Gypsy to LO and cut some Sunflower pieces from Disney-"Tinkerbell and Friends" and Leaves from "Stretch your imagination". This is the card I created. I intended to clear emboss sunflowers on some Crushed Curry paper to use for the card idea I had in my head but can you believe it with all the stuff I own I have no Sunflower stamp...funny thing is that in my head I owned this particular Autumn Leaves set I have eyed at the store for ages...
The card went together quickly, I am happy about that. I used SU Basic Gray, Crushed Curry and Alwasy Artichoke to go with this weeks Color Combo on SCS. I hope you like it also. other than putting the pieces together ..I used Black and Basic Gray Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an H2O fine tip pen to dab the colors over the Basic Gray center piece, and Brilliance Moonlight White teardrop ink pad to sponge over the Basic Gray embossed with D'vine Swirls... The sentiment Inkadoo: "Personal Impressions"was stamped in Basic gray ink, and mated with Always Artichoke and mounted on Dimensionals. For a little extra detail on the sunflower I embossed using my Cuttlebug the Petal Flower piece and then sponged with Basic Gray Ink .
Until Later ...Happy Stamping!
