Graduation Cards

well I have been so busy and so behind, but now I am almost caught up...Yeah(sigh). Tonight I managed to finish up the 12 Graduation cards I needed. Nothing fancy just a simple card.

I used a "Happy Graduation" Stamp @Heather that I got on clearance last summer from my LSS. I also used my ribbon and Button Brad stash...Love the MM button brads had to risist buying some 4 hole ones I saw last weekend at Archivers since I have so many 2 holed ones I am hoarding...I used red and Purple for school colors...Okay I used Purple for most but made my nephew a red one well because he's my nephew and those are his school colors. Everyone else got purple and black, mostly school colors and others because I dont know their school colors and I am just so happy to be catching up on the cards I need done before I leave town on Friday...

I used the cuttlebug two folders"congrats" and "Swiss Dots", I love them it makes making quick and great cards easy.

Until Later ...Happy Stamping!

An Anniversary Card

I made this Anniversary Card for a friend On line...I have seveeral Grad. Anniversary and Wedding Cards to make int he next few weeks.
I really like how the colors worked together on this card...I dont know which papers I used I think they Grey was from a nuetrals package and I am not certain if the blue is scrap of night sky or from something else but I think it was soft sky.
The little heart charm is from the wilton cake decorating supply area at walmart..
I used my birds and swirls EF love it and embossed in Platnium the "Baroque Motifs" Swirl.
I think the card truned out really nice...

SC171: RAK Card for Miss Helen

I have been so busy and I am so far behind on Sketch Challenges it isnt even funny...This Sketch is from a while ago. I was stumped how I wanted to use it.. Las night of this card came to me and I think it came out well. I used my Creative Memories Oval patterns to cut the opening on the white cardstock Base. The Black card stock is cut full card front size and then cut out like the front only smaller. to form a mat so the inside of the crd is black on the front. The Old SU Bright Pink color was cut out slightly larger than the white opening and the embossed with devine swirl. I was going to use a butterfly but I decided to do a flower for the focal image, I used "Paint Prints" , using Mellow Moss, Pretty in Pink, Barely Banana, and Basic Grey. I used my Stamp a Ma Jig to align the outlines. Get well Soon was from SU"Sincere Salutations" I stamped it in Pixie Pink.

DebDeb on SCS posted a RAK for her mentor who has been having a hard time recoverying from a knee surgery,

I am sure she would apreciate more cards for her friend.

Here's a Link if you would care to help by sending a card.

I should have another Post tomorrow...I am on a Roll and have several Post for the next few days... Until Later ... Happy Stamping!

For My BUD

Okay A month ago I made some cards and a box for my BUD on SCS CCRAK. It was a secret as to who had who until today when the 2nd Box is mailed and so we can reveal who we are.

So these cards and boxes are from a month ago... the Theme was April Showers Bring May Showers so I chose Spring as a theme and used an umbrella to represent the Rain and Shower theme...I think I miss under stood the directions abit and it said to make something other than a Card..So I covered this box I got at Wal Mart and made a dozen or so cards to go inside...I also included various other treats, and embellishments. I used the colors she chose as her favorite to decorat the box and the cards. I used several Embossing folders and SU"MiniMates" to decorate the cards. The scallops were cut with my Cricut using "MiniMonograms". The decorations on the Box were cut with "new Arrival" and "Stretch Your Imaginations". the cards measure 4 1/4 by 4 1/4
they are meant to be used as quick gift cards for Birthdays, Wedding or Engagements and Baby showers.
Hope you enjoy them ...Until Later...Happy Stamping!

Butterflies and Blooms

If you noticed when I did the Expecting card I accidentally knocked my stacks of Michaels dollar stamps off my little drawer set and was shocked that I had so many and yet haven't used many of them . With that in mind I made this cardusing two of the sets.
Everyuthing was painted with Watercolor Wonder Crayons, and then I added some Sakura glitter pen to the butterfly images. I added the panels becasue I felt the white images needed something to help them pop. the blooms and butterflies are on Dimensionals. the Purple flower brads are from Making Memories.
I made this for a friend. I like how it turned out. I need to get some sketch cards made I am a week behind now... my life has become very busy in the last few weeks and should remain that way for another week or so.
Until later... Happy Stamping!

Kind Birthday

I needed to make a Birthday card becasue sadly my stack is running low. Maybe that isnt sadly, since I think every card maker has hoardes of cards...That need good homes.

I found a good use for this card this week and thought I better post it before I forget since I put it in the mail.

I used "One of a Kind" to stamp the background in Perfect Plum and then, Basic Gray to stamp the flower. I used my Watercolro Wonder Crayons to color Apricot Appeal the background flower centers, and Perfect & Pale Plum for the flowers. I used barely Banana on the large flower center. On the small flowers i punched a hole using my 1/16th inch circle punch and added flower brads. Can you tell I get into ruts with color choices when I make cards. I really love these colors together. The sentiment was done by cutting strips and slipping them into the Word Window Punch and punching the ends so it could be slightly longer, the matting was a strip cut and then slipped intothe back of a Circle Punch to trim the edge. I mountedthe first sentiment on the strip and then trimmed it withthe circle punch. The sentiment and large flower are raised on dimensionals.

Until later ...Happy Stamp!
