I needed to make a Birthday card becasue sadly my stack is running low. Maybe that isnt sadly, since I think every card maker has hoardes of cards...That need good homes.
I found a good use for this card this week and thought I better post it before I forget since I put it in the mail.
I used "One of a Kind" to stamp the background in Perfect Plum and then, Basic Gray to stamp the flower. I used my Watercolro Wonder Crayons to color Apricot Appeal the background flower centers, and Perfect & Pale Plum for the flowers. I used barely Banana on the large flower center. On the small flowers i punched a hole using my 1/16th inch circle punch and added flower brads. Can you tell I get into ruts with color choices when I make cards. I really love these colors together. The sentiment was done by cutting strips and slipping them into the Word Window Punch and punching the ends so it could be slightly longer, the matting was a strip cut and then slipped intothe back of a Circle Punch to trim the edge. I mountedthe first sentiment on the strip and then trimmed it withthe circle punch. The sentiment and large flower are raised on dimensionals.
Until later ...Happy Stamp!
You did a fabulous job on this card, too. You are getting really good Kathy!!!! My stuff pales in comparison!
