The Favor Boxes

Well I am getting a little tired of Red, Black& white but I am loving how things are turning out...I have been sewing for few daysa and making these favor boxes..I used the embassy black Cardstock at walmart 3.97 cents for 50 sheets..I used my Gypsy to layout 2 boxes from the Weddings Solution Cart to cut on one sheet., then I used my Expression to cutthem out. For a little more than 3.97, I got 100 boxes! A pretty cute favor at a great price...
The red is from a 5 color basic Paper Co package at Michaels and the White is GP white Walmart...the transparencies are from my stash...I used my SU 1 1/4" circle punch to cut red and white circles and cut them in half on my paper trimmer and I cut the transparencies at 1 5/8" square on my trimmer...cut 5 strips and then trimmed all five strips to 1 5/8" at one time...it worked really well, I have about 100 with white circles glued in place and about 25 of those have the transparencies in them. Next I will score all the lines folds, then I will make 50-100 with the red circle pieces if I feel like it..The DD's will assemble them and fill them with red, black and white M&M's and Nuts when they get home from college and after the Christmas clebrations...

Until Latere...Happy Stamping!

Snowman Box Tower

Last week Holly aka
"Toy" on SCS posted the cutest Snowman tower on her blog really you should check hers out because it is wonderful and I think She did a much better job than I did making her tags and Cards. I also noticed today she made another box this week of a Santa, (He's very cute too...hopefully I will be able to make one of them too!) When I first saw the snowman I immediately thought of several people I would like to make one for. I finished up my Monday projects and I worked on 6 of them all day Tues., I waited for the "Wedding Dress" to show up in the mail.

I used similar colors but different products than she did when I made mine. They do take a little bit of time to make. I wanted to show them to you yesterday, but DD called on Tues. evening wanting 50 more wedding announcements so I had to make 30 of them yesterday, before I could finish up. The most amazing part of it all is that I actually made all of these snowmen using up my Stash...I didnt have to buy anything...except some M&M's.

Okay dont go have a heart attack or anything...Yes I am posting a second post in November!
Yesterday I decided to do the Featured Stamper Challenge on SplitCoastStampers. I havent posted a challenge in a while , and CarrollAnne is a friend of mine. I came up with this little beauty based on this CARD in her Gallery!

Since I have 3 friends I have lunch with in December, all celebrating their Birthdays. ((I am the odd Woman out, only because mine falls in October....I was born a few months early...;).))

I made 2 more cards this morning using the same theme. I like it so much I might make a few more using the Holiday Greetings stamp from Sincere Salutations also.

I used the QuiKutz Retro Diamond A2 Embossing folder, GP White Card stock, Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, MS Bough Branch Punch, SU Autumn Days, SU Sincere Salutations, Red Gem stones, and EK 1/16"Dimensionals.

Wedding Things & (Baby Quilt....shh)

Hello,

I just thought I should make a post and let you all know I am doing well, I managed to stay well this month but I have been very busy working on and getting things done for my DD's Wedding.

The Boutonniers', Corsages, and Bouquet done. My younger Dd's think I need to do flowers for them, so I might have to make a few more corsages...I am so thnkful for my firend Colleen , who has helped me get these floral things done for the last two years.

The announcements are finished and mailed...these took hours to make and put together..My Dh punched out all the MS branches for me all 642 of them. My SIL helped me put the black covers on and tehn the oval Medallions the next week. Two trips to my house ...thanks Sheila. My DD#5 helped edit the photo for the return address label. it was printed too small to really appreciate so I thought I would uploaded it here. Then it could get fully appreciated.

We are still inthe process of editting photos to Black and White with a touch of Red for the table top centerpieces. I did finish making all 15 of the runners and buying the supplies for the Centerpieces. The fabric behind this picture is the fabric being used for the center pieces. I wrapped two of the blocks of wood cut for last years wedding with black gift wrap and I am using them for the centerpieces. I am borrowing mirrors from my friend so they aren't in the picture. This is just a rough up of them so I could show DD#1 what I had come up with.
I also designed a monogram that couldnt be used so I had to design the name medallion I used for the invites

It took several hours to perfect these, but I just tried to upload them but the file type won't upload.

Lastly...We purchased dresses but they are Black and White, Homecoming clearance..I got a great deal on 5 dresses, but DD#7, said I couldnt post pictures of her in it because she wasn't dressed up so I have to wait until after the bug day, she did say however I could post the pictures of the Shoes! So happy I am not wearing red shoes.

Hopefully, soon I will have more time to post the cards I have been making...

Lastly I have been workingon a gift for my New Grandson being born this coming month. I only feel safe posting it because my DD never checks my craft blog...Hopefully that is still the case. I am just going to upload some detail pictures and not the full thing.

Until Later...Happy Stamping!

Details for Invite: I used Royal Fiber White Text weight Paper, Embassy Black Cardstock , Jaffray Red SatinPirouette ribbon, Oval scallop and Lr andSM SU Oval Punches. Designer labels 4 largest one to trim the black CS and thenD'vine Swirls CB folder, the 5th Ave Floral Embossing folder on the vellum.

Hello

Well its been over a month since I made a post..I have been under the weather again...I had about 10 days of being healthy and then I went out of town and came home sick and that has been the case since...using my energy to get things done that I had to do. I used mostly. Basic Black, Yo Yo Yellow, Perfect Plum, Only Orange, GP White, and Chocolate Chip to make a few Halloween Birthday cards a few weeks ago. The images are an old ghost and Witch from Hambo Stamps I got a few years ago, the sentiment comes from an KiCo Clear stamp set I got a year ago at Target...

I used all my Fall Cuttlebug folders and a few others...and My Martha Stewart Border punches, and Marvy corner punch.

My other DD got engaged and so I am working on her wedding stuff for her early Jan. wedding.
Someone asked if it was a new tradition in my family...I hope not!
I am hoping to feel well enough soon to get a routine going ..Its a little draining being sick so long... I hope you enjoy the cards. I hope to have more to share with you soon..I am just glad I found time to post them before Halloween.

Happy Stamping!

Bleached Upsy Daisy

Like I have been saying all month. I have had to make a lot of cards but have gotten a little behind posting them to my Blog. I posted this card to SCS the day I made it for the CC231. The challenge was to pick a color of card stock stmap it with Bleach and then use the color that shows up as the other color and make a card. I chose to stamp Upsy Daisy on a Piece of SU "Soft Suede" And thought it matched closely with "So Saffron". I chose to use White as my Nuetral. I had the strip of Soft suede left over after using a border Punch on it so I added the thin Strip on the
So Saffron panel after using my Swiss Dots EF in my Cuttlebug. the Sentiment is from SU "Teeny Tiny Verses" and I punched it out with my SU Word Window Punch..I have been doing that alot lately! Lastly I cut some Offwhite Jaffray picot ribbon and sponged it with "So Saffron" reinker...It seemed a little too Dark so I sprayed it with some stamp cleaner and sponged the excess moisture off it. I think It turned out nice.
Until Later ...Happy Stamping!
