I have always liked "Pretty Amazing" so I paired it with the birthday sentiment from "Upsy Daisy" to make some birthday cards. I used the same elements and mixed them up a bit.
I masked the huming bird and then stamped the flower on Barely Banana and Rocked and Rolled it in Apricot Appeal. I like how these masked images turned out. I used my Watercolor Wonder Crayons and my H2O painter to paint the humming bird using Taken with Teal and Cameo Coral. On one image I also painted the background with Bashful & Bordering Blue. I used my Cuttlebug "Stylized Flower" folder to emboss Taken with Teal. I trimmed and matted with Basic Black. I found the cute MM yellow flower brads to accent the sentiment. I think they go great with the image. The black tricot ribbon is from Ofray at Wal-mart. I am using up my stash so well; I used up all my tape runner...ugh! I hope they have some in stock on Monday when I can get to the store...
Until Later ...Happy Stamping!

Great cards! Love the softness of the colors!
ReplyDeleteThese are really nice Kathy. Makes me want to pull out that stamp set.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like those, Kathy. I love your coloring on the hummingbird. I struggle with coloring that little guy because I want him to look great - you did that!
