If you havent figured out my stamping theme/goal this year is to reduce my Stash, buy including it in to all may creations. We all have a stash! It just happens because so many new things are always coming out. They are always great and so our stash grows and grows. My eyes were opened a little this year when I moved my carfting space. I realized I forgot I owned some stuff how does that happen..LOL... So because of the economy I am trying to cut back and reduce my stash. I've decided there are many ways I can reduce my Storage requirements at the same time... so with that in mind here are my simple Valentine Crafts I made this year. I also covered a few Hershey bars for my DD's, but I forgot to take a picture...I need to get another one made so maybe I'll get a picture taken yet...

I made some cute valentines using my SU "Festive Favorites" sometimes we forget we already have stamps in our collection that we can blow the dust off. I n my case Festive Favorites was the perfect set the little square shapes are perfect for ghiradelli chocoalte squares.
I wanted to cover the new Peanutbutter one's I picked up and boy are they delicious...I also covered this little heart tin I saved from last year and so I included a matching square on it.
I colored with my Prisma Pencils, and used some oderless mineral spirits to blend. The colors are close to Pirouette Pink So Saffron, Real Red and Pixie Pink.
I Covered the Red Heart Tin (an old mrs fields Chocoalte tin, it had raised lettering onthe front. Isaved it last year it got filled with minatures and Kisses) it took a little work. I used White GP Card stock rolled with "so swirly"SU jumbo wheel and REal Red Ink. I traced the tin bottom and cut out the shape and adhered it to the top with Dimensionals. The square on the tin was matted using my SU Scalloped square punch with Real Red CS. I had to punch two, because we all know the punch is slightly too small for SU larger square punch. so I off set them at the diagonal where the ribbon is placed. I added a little gem stone on the lower corner and covered the little clip with Real Red CS also and tied a nother bit of the ribbon( old Target $ scraps from last year). I had these die cut "K" on hand(using my stash) in a Burgandy so I sponged it with White Craft ink and some Dew Drop Moonlight white for some shimmer, then added the two red gem stones for glitz and to match up with the square.
This is so neat Kathy. I love your thoughts on using our "stash". New things continually come out & so true how we forget what we already have.
