Finally.. a Challenge(ing) Card

Editted to add Card(Opps)
Well this card has been a dilema for me since I started it. I should have scrapped it and started another one. I dont know if its because I wanted to use this paper clip or because I chose the colors based on a card kit I recieved from a friend, or because I tried to do both of the above in combination with the SCS SC139. I did all of the above, but couldnt think of what to stamp on it. I have been thinking about it for 2 days. Usually I would've given up a tried something new, but I am rusty, and been sort of out of it with all the work and trauma I've had to deal with.

Oh well back to the card, the green cardstock is SU Certainly Celery. The turqouis is from a package of Assorted blue paper I picked up at Michaels, the brown is a scrap that I had laying around and I dont know where it came from. I used a very vanilla for the base that I stamped on and sponged it withSU Close to Cocoa and used a retired set from the spring catalog called Small Sayings, the smiley face is from that set also. The dotted square is a sticker from the card making kit I got from my friend as well as the Brown ribbon with the light green stiching. The foot is aleft over from the ones I used for girls camp that I picked up in the office supply section at Wal mart. The ribbon tied to the foot is off a wooden spool I picked up at michaels love this ribbon. I was going to use a dotted one in the same colors but the knot wouldn't cooperate so i chose this one instead. the sticker was mounted on turqoise and then I tried stamping on it but the surface was slippery so I chose to punch a circle from the center and invert it and stamp the smiley face, and then raise the outer part up on dimensionals. The track dashes were colored with a Sakura Glaze pen in clear and with the souffle pen in opaque white. The glaze was used to add a slight shadow. the turquoise on the strip was cuttlebugged with the mosaic embossing folder at an angle so it could be longer. The three green dotted brads are Queen Co Making waves full size brads. I know this isnt my best card but know maybe my juices will get flowing after suffering from starvation in the month of August!

Until Later ... Happy Stamping!
