I got up very early this morning because I forgot that yesterday I found this package of votives for 7.95 at Michaels in the wedding isle...I Saw them and thought I have white vinyl I could decorate these really easy and help my friend fill the box I posted earlier.
I used CDS(Cricut Design Studio) to LO and cut the objects quickly..I thought I was going to have to type "Faith" with a font and add the welded swirls myself, but the "Home Accent" cart had the word already for me..so I just sized it to fit and cut out twelve of them on a 6X12 mat. then on a second page I Used the "Indie Art" cart and cut out the 12 Butterflies.
I originally used one ot the Butterflies from home accents but my mat wasnt sticky enough...Oops and the cut out pieces kept balling up mostly cause the vinyl wasnt stuck down well enough and because it had a lot of little intricate swirls...
For Camp this year the theme is "Round Up of Values"..our wards value is Faith, and the color for Faith is White.. I would have definately use a contrasting color of vinyl if this wasnt the case. My friend was using a butterfly as a symbol of Faith. I put three candles together in the first picture so you can see what the whole image looks like...they were all cut at about 2" I sized it in CDS so I dont know the exact height it was cut at.
I would recommend doing something similar for a party favor they went together very quickly..I was able to put them together in about an hour and a half ,it took longer because I had to layout & recut the butterflies...I think 12 in an hour would be very doable!
These are beautiful, Kathy! How wonderful that they also were so quick! What a great project!
