White Ellie Box Items

On the CC thread at SCS we decided to do another quick swap of Items we all ready owned valued at 20$, Make a card and send a silly item(the White Elephant) and send it annonymous to the person whose name we were assigned...We were supposed to open our boxes on the 23 but have been waiting becasue a few were sent out late. This is part of the reason I havent had a post lately. I made this card( had to have and Elephant somewhere on it), and bath salt jar for my Ellie...

For the card I used Pink Pirouette and my Cuttlebug to emboss with the "Argyle" A2 folder. I cut the little ellie using "New Arival" cut from a neutrals package from Michaels and Paper Co. I used pastels to add some color details. I used the sentiment from teeny tiny verses...really loving this new SU stamp set. and rounded the edges of the 3/4" circle punch to trim the Gray matting. The sentiment was punched with the Word window punch, and I added some little Gemstones fr the dots ont he "i"s. The Elli and sentiment are mounted on Dimensionals.

The wonderful ribbon used ont he Jar was in my Cricut box I recieved a few months ago..I picked the colors from it for cardstock to decorate. Now honestly I didnt have to buy anything to make these bath salts..I had saved the left over ones form making some for my cricut swap box and my Mothers day box for my mom. the jars I bought last year when Wal-mart was clearing them out to use for Lotion I never made last christmas becasue of being busy with my Dd's Wedding. I did discover that the SU 1 3/4" circle punch makes a circle that fits perfectly on the metal lid indent. The cardstock is some old SU pink and Some Michaels Paper company assortment in Blues close to Tempting Turquoise but slightly lighter. the Purple is Lovely Lilac, and the white GP cardstock from Wal-mart. I cut the flower from the Lifes a Beach cart with my Cricut. The pearls were sent to me in the cricut swap stuff also...Thanks again Diana!
tomorrow I will do a special thank you post for my Ellie box...
Until Later ...Happy Stamping!
