Demo Party Cards & Tins

I went to my SU Demos home today and made a few cards and tins. I just generally relaxed and had some fun before I came home and mowed the lawn and got ready for a wedding reception. I didn't get much other time to play today. I thought I would share the items I made today with you. I am still hoping to get more helpful suggestions for my posting yesterday. I hope to make a post on Monday with however I tweaked/finished it.

The first card is very simple and quick to make! I really didnt pay attention to colors and Stamp Sets. The "Thanks" sentiment was from the bottom of one with a flower. We used reinker and a blender to color the words only and the stamp them on the small strip of paper. I am pretty sure that 2 of the Paper colors are the retiring In Colors Cranberry Crisp and Buckaroo Blue, The button and ribbon are More Mustard. It was pretty simple if you want more detail ask and I will get the specifics.

The second card used Heartfelt Thanks and the soft subtles markers to color the flower and stamp and then the the lavendaer lace and Perfect Plum to stamp the "Thanks" and "Fine Lace" Background

The torn paper and jagged edge cut out along the stamp really add to the look and feel of this card. I have grown fond of this background stamp it really adds something sspecial to a card. I'ld be happy to give this Thanks to anyone.

Lastly I made the covers for these

Mini Mint Tins. My demo bought them on clearence from Walmart. We cut Black cs to the size of the lid and trimmed the edges with the corner rounder. The 1-1/4" and the 3/4" circle punches were used to punch out the flower images. Stickles and various markers were used to color and decorate the flowers and stems. the stem was trimmed on the end with the corner rounder also. and the small flower was mounted on dimensionals.
