Wedding Bells

Nothing like remembering you need a wedding card for the weekend to get your creativity flowing. I am sorry the smaller picture is blurry a bit. I only wanted to show you the inside because of the embossing.

I used my faithful Cuttlebug with the Wedding embossing set to make this card. I love the little embossing sets. I recently added a few more to my stash.
I used a basic Black card stock for the base of the card and chose to make it fold at the top. I never remember to make different folds. I need to do this more it just makes you think differently and sparks creativity which I needed. I used the shimmer white Cardstock from SU for the images and the inside. It's a wedding after all and that means glimmer. After embossing the bride and groom I wish I had a Brilliance White Ink Spot, but I didn't so I settled for the Platnium one, to highlight the embossing of the couple and the words. I used Pretty in Pink cardstock with the Congrats A2 Embossing folder, only because I am trying to use the D'vine swirl less. Both would work perfectly with this card. I felt the long flowing "Congratulations" was a perfect sentiment. I used Queen B & Co Brads from the Sprinkle Collection , "Kissy Fit". Regal rose was used to mat the white images inside and out. The ribbon is the wedding white organza from the Target $ section and, A Pink and Black gingham I bought by the yard and can't remeber where anymore. I chose this gingham over my 1/4" gingham only because it was edged in pink and the other was edged in Black. I wanted the softer pink to stand out. Finally I added a MM small circle clip and a heart charm that says "love" on it that I picked up in the wedding favor area of Wal-mart's craft section. Hope you enjoy it.

  3. Very pretty wedding card. I don't have any of the small embossing kits; I really like the bride and groom. The charm is a nice touch.
